Meler develops new series of Laminating Rolls for Hotmelt and PUR adhesives

Meler presents a new range of Laminating Rolls for thermoplastic adhesives and PUR/POR adhesives. They have a lamination width from 350 to 1050mm and adapt to any type of material.

The Meler Laminating Roller series is designed for Hotmelt hotmelt and PUR/POR adhesives and features independent temperature control for each element, i.e. for the tank, the application roller and the scrapers.

Thanks to its lamination widths, from 350 to 1050 mm, it is perfectly adapted to each application, thus contributing to optimize production and guarantee the quality of customers’ products.

The application roller is made of hardened steel with carbon coating, suitable for textile fabrics and pvc + foam. The steel structure of the equipment avoids vibrations. In addition, the main parts of the machine are non-stick treated for easy cleaning.

The tank incorporates a watertight lid and dry air injection to keep the adhesive in the best working conditions. A tray with dry air is also supplied to protect the adhesive application roller during short stoppages. The simple operation of the control panel facilitates the operator’s day-to-day work by including in its control card different programs for the automatic heating of the equipment, which translates into cost and maintenance savings.

This new technology has important advantages over traditional manual systems: on the one hand, it eliminates vapors and bad odors, benefiting the environment and the worker’s health. On the other hand, it applies a uniform layer of adhesive, which allows us to control the grammage, thus providing a better product finish.
